Description[]

Start Here is a follow-up book to Alex and Brett Harris' book, Do Hard Things. In Do Hard Things, the authors encouraged teenagers to rebel against the low expectations of society, and not to view the teenage years simply as an opportunity to have fun. They wanted teenagers to "do hard things" for the glory of God.

Start Here is subtitled "doing hard things right where you are". In the book, the authors answer common questions they encountered, mainly "How do I get started on doing hard things?" The book is filled with letters and personal accounts from those who took up the author's challenge. Start Here is a very practical guide to doing hard things.

Reader's Reviews[]

1[]

Start Here is a really good follow-up book to Do Hard Things. It answers many questions that I had in an FAQ-style, and it is written in a conversational and easy-to-read style, so it is not too hard a read. I also found the real-life accounts from those who have done hard things really inspiring. One comment: you really need to have read Do Hard Things before you read this. If you haven't read Do Hard Things, do yourself a favour and read that first – it is absolutely amazing. My only negative is that Start Here doesn't add much to the overall message and vision. It very much deals with the nitty-gritty of doing hard things, and consequently isn't quite as exciting or inspiring. This is a great read, however, and I would recommend reading it.
