Description[]
My Childhood in Nazi Germany has been republished as Flying a Flag for Hitler.
Growing up in Nazi Germany, Elsbeth Emmerich begins to understand what "the war" she has heard whispered about, really means: coping with food shortages, moving from house to house to avoid the air raids and, worst of all, having to get used to the pain of a missing father. A true story, based on the author's childhood.
Reader's Reviews[]
1[]
It was a really good book, because I am a big fan of World War II. It was also really sad with some people dying.
