Description[]
I Know Why the Angels Dance is a contemporary novel written by Bryan Davis. It is the story of what happens when tragedy meets faith. Phil Grayson is an aethiest psychology professor, and a death in his family leaves him without a ray of hope. John Hanson is a pastor and a dedicated Christian, who tries to console him based on the hope of heaven. But it is only Tabitha, John Hanson's daughter, who can see past the theology into the truth of heaven. With Tabitha's help, both John and Phil will set out on a journey of the heart to learn why the angels dance.
Reader's Reviews[]

I read this book a few years ago, and I loved it. I have read most of this authors books (and I enjoy most of them a great deal) but this one is my favorite. The faith of the characters, and the way they meet their trials with faith and trust are an inspiration to me. The story is written with beautiful simplicity that makes it come alive, and I found myself wanting to do as one of the characters did at the end of the book: jump up and shout, "I know why the angels dance!" In the midst of deepest tragedy, the light of the Lord shines brightly. This book touched my heart in a way few others could. The characters are well developed, the story well researched and well written. - Caiti Marie

There is nothing innappropriate in this story, but it is the story of death and tragedy, and may be too intense for some younger readers. It is recommended that parents read it first.
