Daniel Handler is an author, best known for the 13-book series A Series of Unfortunate Events, published under the pseudonym of Lemony Snicket. Handler began writing A Series of Unfortunate Events under the Snicket pseudonym in 1999. The books concern three orphaned children who have progressively more terrible things happen to them, and Snicket acts as the narrator and biographer of the fictional orphans.

Very good author. Not as good as some of the other authors I have met.
I didn't know that Daniel Handler is such a gr8 author. His books were made in2 feature films. His stage name/pen name is Lemony Snicket. On Arthur,it was parodied as Persimmony Glitchet.[]
