Description[]
Coraline Jones moves in a divided flat with her parents and discovers a door that leads to another world that appears to be a better version of her "boring" life. With the aide of a cat, she learns the dark truth of this world and the "Other Mother" who controls it. She must save herself and her family from the evils of the Other World before it's too late.
A successful stop-motion film based on the book, with Gaiman as the writer, was adapted in 2009.
