I have discovered a book from childhood that brought back many memories,

Printed by William Collins sons and co Ltd London and Glasgow (hardback)

I found on the fandom website that it was first printed in 1959 and the contents and description is exactly the same , so I believe this is probably the first book I read in 1962--1963 as I was born in 1959 and have distinct memories of the pictures and my mum reading it to me.

I was surprised to see a much later version in paperback for £124

I don't know if this would be sort after or how to find out valuation but feel i couldn't part with it ,as it has emotional attachment.
